Tickets ‘sales’ end a day before the walk.

The walk will start at 09.50 am from the Grindleford train station to give everyone a chance to get there.

• It is usually windy (and cold) up in the hills so it is worth it to have/bring a wind/rainproof jacket/clothing.
• Please wear appropriate hiking/trail walking shoes. No trainers/canvas/casual shoes.
• Bring drinking water. And some snackables too if you want.
• If you have any light and extra portable first aid kits, please bring them along.
• This is not a certified-guide-led walk so you will be joining of your own volition. There is no guarantee or insurance included.

About 6 miles/9km with one 271m ascent that goes up gently enough. Rated easy-medium level.
